Scholarship Program

Entrepreneurship is an attitude, a behaviour and a set of values. When combined with the qualities of creativity, innovation, risk-taking and a strong need to achieve, the result is an individual whose style lights paths of opportunity for others to follow.

To qualify, an applicant must be a student graduating from high school.

Applicants must intend to pursue studies at a provincially accredited post‐secondary institution the fall following high school graduation.

Applicants will be judged on the following:

  • Past entrepreneurial activity both in school and out of school
  • A future vision of entrepreneurial opportunities
  • A demonstration of communication skills, both written and oral
  • Initiative and strong positive personal characteristics
  • Personal interview (only for applicants selected)
  • In general, academic standing is not as important as entrepreneurial effort, initiative and vision!

  • Be a resident of Nova Scotia.
  • Complete the attached application form.
  • Provide two letters of personal reference. One must be from a school official such as a teacher, principal or guidance counselor.
