The SO2018 games are expected to have a considerable impact on the community. It’s estimated the event will generate about $5 million and bring national attention to both the province of Nova Scotia and the town & county of Antigonish.

At an announcement earlier this morning, he promised $90 million to twin a dangerous stretch of Nova Scotia's Highway 104 from Sutherlands River to Antigonish, which has been the site of many fatal car crashes.
